Our Story
Founded in 2019, Obanijoda Caregiver Foundation was birthed from a place of deep personal experience and compassion. Our founder’s life journey — marked by pain, resilience, and faith — gave rise to a divine calling: to help others heal through love and support.
We are committed to providing care for the vulnerable, advocating for justice, and restoring dignity to those society often overlooks.

Our Mission
To extend hands of help and compassion to orphans, abused women, victims of addiction, and others in distress through faith-based humanitarian support and empowerment programs.
Our Vision
A world where love and compassion rebuild broken lives, and every person experiences the dignity and care they deserve.
Our Motto
“Humanity is the Best Form of Religion.” Inspired by Matthew 25:40 — “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me.”
Core Values
Compassion
Integrity
Faith
Empowerment
Justice

Onyebuchi Pitan
President/Founder
Brief about the President/Founder
Onyebuchi Pitan, is the Founder of Obanijoda Caregiver Foundation. She is a victim of abuses in different and many levels with seemingly almost no one around her, to help her. She is a survivor of many years of domestic violence (physical abuses) and spiritual abuses in her marriage. Things got worse for her when her fanatic Christian parents would not support divorce or separation. She was failed by the very people she called her own. Every painful experience she had, put her in a vantage position to be able to relate with people in the same circumstances. She has a Bachelor degree in Linguistics and a Masters degree in English Language from the University of Ilorin and Ibadan, Nigeria respectively. She pursued a Diploma in Security Course in United Arab Emirates in 2017 and she had also added to her knowledge so as to be relevant in her current mission, a diploma in Nursing and Higher Diploma in Health and Social Care Management from Croydon College, London and London College of Professional Studies, London, United Kingdom.
She is not just a versatile career woman, she is a poet and a writer with all her publications registered under her pseudonym: Abike Benson.
This philanthropic mission is to put into use all she believes the universe had prepared her for, over these painful years of her life. She is a mother of four beautiful Children.
